SHELTER

The aim of this project is to increase the awareness about human body, interaction of body and space, and explore the role of reasoning and logic in shaping the form and space.
It is the manifestation of understanding of anthropometric and ergonomic by creating a confined space which will have multi-functional furniture(s) integrated with the interior of the shelter which the user can use for several positions and activities within a 24 hours period.
The very limited space (8 cubic metres) will challenge me to thoroughly examine the design approach by strictly considering and adhering to anthropometrics and ergonomics requirements.
The challenge in designing this shelter is the structure and the installation of The Shelter should be zero-glue and zero-nail. It should be based on tanggam concept of jointing and connection.
